"School-based health care makes the grade in Chicago"

Since 2008, when a health care center was opened at Chicago's Perspectives-Calumet Middle Academy, almost 20,000 students have received health services at the school.
Every student enrolled, as well as other children from the neighborhood, have received annual physicals and vaccinations. This article highlights the outreach effort by the Greater Auburn Development Corporation to teachers and parents to ensure the school clinic was available to the community.
