Changes at the Institute

We want to let you know about some changes occurring at the Institute for Comprehensive Community Development.

Beginning this January, LISC will be moving the training, website articles and toolkits currently offered by the Institute for Comprehensive Community Development to our national office and consolidating and integrating them with the training and support provided by the LISC National Programs.

Various functions of the Institute will continue under the leadership of LISC Executive Vice President Tina Brooks and Director of Research and Assessment Chris Walker.

However, both of us will be leaving the Institute at the end of the year. Joel will return full time to his work as Director of Programs for LISC Chicago, and Eileen will resume her independent consulting practice.

Since the Institute’s launch in 2010, more than 3,800 practitioners, intermediaries, funders and researchers have shared strategies and best practices with peers across the country. It has been our pleasure to support this amazing community of practice, and we wish all of you great success as you continue your work to build strong, sustainable communities.
